Farbe ins Spiel

Gestern bereits angekündigt, möchte ich Euch heute eine neue Farbe vorstellen. Diese gibt es erst seit zwei-drei Monaten. Irgendwie ist es ja in Mode gekommen, dass jeder Hersteller eine krasse Neon-Farbe auf den Markt wirft. Zwar hatte Vallejo hier bereits in der Game-Colour-Reihe ein paar Töne, die zeichneten sich aber durch eine extrem schlechte Deckkraft aus. Seit einiger Zeit hat Vallejo eine neue Reihe die sich Premium nennt. Diese hat, ähnlich wie die Farben von Duncan, große Töpfe. Gedacht sind diese wohl zum Bemalen und Besprühen von Lexan-Karossen von RC-Fahrzeugen. Da es sich aber auch um normale wasserbasierende Acryl-Farben handelt kann man sie aber normal mit dem Pinsel verarbeiten.

As I told you yesterday, I want to show you the new cool colours from Vallejo. They are quite new, two or three month I guess. As it is modern in the moment to have neon-colours, Vallejo started this new range. They already had some in the game-colour-line, but these haven’t been quite good, as you had to paint 20 layers before the layer was closed. Now they have several in their premium range. They are especially ment for painting lexan – a material used in the rc-section. But, as these colours are waterbased acrylics, they can be used as any other acrylic paint from Vallejo.

  

  

Für mich war das neue Fluor-Set eine interessante Variante, da man mit diesen Farben tolle Effekte erzielen kann. Mit über 20 Euro ist das Set aber nicht ganz billig, bietet jedoch eine Menge Farbe.

For me the fluor set, was quite interesting because you can paint cool effects with it. The set is not very cheap, as the price is more then 20 euros, but you get a lot of colour, as the pots are bigger – like the ones from Duncan.

Bisher habe ich nur einige wenige Sachen damit bemalt. Aber was ich bisher gesehen habe, gefällt mir gut. Allgemein ist auch hier die Deckkraft nicht perfekt, weswegen ich empfehle auf einem hellen Untergrund – ich grundiere die Stelle vorher mit Weiß – zu malen. Dann ist die Brillanz toll. Bei meinem Kroot z.B. wurden die Augen damit bemalt. 

Till now I painted just a few small things with these colours. But what I experienced was good. You still have to paint some layers, but that can be improved, if you prime the surface white before. The colour is really brilliant.
